Most of what we do at Quantum Qarat happens in house, which means the person who sizes your ring, tightens your prongs or sets your stone is on site rather than in a shipping envelope headed out of state. For a piece you care about, that difference is the whole thing.

We are a short drive from anywhere in Scottsdale, and the work covers the full range: custom design, jewelry repair, ring resizing, appraisals and watch repair. Appointments are private and unhurried, in person or virtual.

Watches. Watch repair and battery replacement.

Cleaning and inspection. Desert dust is hard on settings. Cleaning and inspection catches a loose stone before you lose it.

We are at 1801 East Camelback Road, Suite 201, Phoenix, AZ 85016, in the Camelback Colonnade. Camelback Road runs straight east to west between Scottsdale and our block, so from Old Town, the Arcadia edge of Scottsdale or anywhere along Scottsdale Road, it is one road most of the way. Coming from North Scottsdale, SR 51 drops you at Camelback.

Hours are Monday to Friday 8am to 6pm, Saturday and Sunday 9am to 5pm. Appointments are recommended so you get the bench time rather than a counter conversation. City services and event information for residents are at the City of Scottsdale.

Do you serve Scottsdale if your store is in Phoenix?

Yes. Quantum Qarat is at 1801 East Camelback Road in Phoenix, a short drive west of Scottsdale Road, and a large share of our clients come from Scottsdale, Paradise Valley and Arcadia.

Do I need an appointment?

Appointments are recommended and can be booked online for either an in-person or a virtual consultation. Walk-ins are welcome during business hours, but an appointment guarantees time with Zak.

Is jewelry repair done in house or sent out?

Repair work is handled in house at our Phoenix location rather than shipped to an off-site trade shop.

Can you resize a ring bought somewhere else?

Yes. We resize, repair and restore pieces regardless of where they were originally purchased.

Who writes your appraisals?

Appraisals are prepared by independent certified appraisers, deliberately not by Quantum Qarat, so the valuation is written by someone with no stake in the sale.

Can you redesign an inherited piece?
